Firmware for 2.4 GHz units has been written specially for Wireless Internet Service Providers, who use our units in a client mode as a subscriber gateway. This kind of usage requires some special functions, as rate control system, full support for VPN connections, transmition power control, or for example support for static routing. StraightCore units are always equipped with fully configurable and independent interface for the most flexible setup on the market. Any of interface (Ethernet 1, Ethernet 2 or Wireless) can be assigned to LAN or WAN port. From the beggining, our firmware has been developed to simplify the localization proces, so any of our distribution partners can create its own firmware localization using simple www interface on our pages. Firmware has been already translated to 7 languages.
